Tesco's marketing emails were dated, content heavy and too frequent. My brief was to bring them up-to-date by making them relevant, responsive and on-brand, plus produce supporting design guidelines.
The role grew and as part of the digital marketing team I've been responsible for the production of all digital assets from display banners to event and promotional pages on Tesco.com.
During the recent major rebrand I've worked closely with the brand team to ensure all digital assets follow the new brand design standards and UI principles, creating digital guidelines for use across Tesco.
I've also designed and produced many print pieces for the wider marketing team - mainly DM and press.

I art directed, designed and wrote the copy for this integrated campaign for Bodyform's new product launch, which included in store POS, on-pack promotion, banner advertising and a competition microsite.
Branding and logo design, followed by art direction and design of various elements including 60 page brochure, email and press ads for this award winning, premium super-yacht accessory brand.
Press and outdoor ads are a designer's dream after a few complicated DM packs. Often you really can 'make the logo bigger', although white space is better.

Ten years at advertising agency GGT/TBWA generated the design of many a direct mail pack and my DM skills have come with me wherever I've been.
From Maltese crosses and tip-ons, to more premium cardboard engineering, what I don't know about cutter guides and self-mailers probably isn't worth knowing.
